Hemp, originated in China, is known as the "king of natural fibers". It is also called hemp, line hemp, cold hemp, fire hemp, etc.
Characteristics:
(1)Moisture-absorbent and breathable
Hemp fiber molecules contain a large number of polar hydrophilic groups, which easily combine with water molecules and adsorb them when in contact with water. In addition, there are many capillary channels in the center of the fiber, which can quickly transfer and diffuse water molecules in the fabric. Therefore, hemp fiber has excellent moisture absorption and breathability.
(2)Naturally antibacterial
Hemp plants have a variety of active phenolic substances, organic acids, and inorganic salts. In addition, the gaps in the hemp fibers contain oxygen, which can kill and inhibit anaerobes and other bacteria.
(3)Soft and comfortable
Hemp fiber is the softest among all hemp types. It does not degumm the fiber to the level of single cells. The technical fiber is bonded by pectin and lignin, leaving no fiber head end outside, so it does not have a rough, hard and itchy feeling. Extremely soft.
(4)Anti-odor and mildew-proof
Hemp has a porous structure, has strong adsorption capacity, and has significant anti-odor and anti-mildew effects.
(5)Prevent static electricity
The official moisture regain of hemp textiles exposed to the air is about 12%. When the air humidity reaches 95%, the moisture regain can reach 30%. It does not feel wet to the touch and is a good insulating material.
(6)Anti-UV
Hemp fabric can shield more than 95% of ultraviolet rays. When the temperature reaches 370°C, it will not fade and will not burn at 1000°C. It has excellent heat resistance and UV protection properties.
(7)Eco-friendly
Hemp does not require any chemical fertilizers during its growth process and has a strong repellent effect. It is a globally recognized green resource.
