1. As low-foam detergent or defoamer
L61, L64, F68 are used to prepare low-foam, high-detergent synthetic detergents;
L61 is used as a defoamer in papermaking or fermentation industry;
F68 is used as a defoamer during blood circulation in artificial heart-lung machines to prevent air from entering.
2. Polyethers are very low in toxicity and are often used as drug excipients and emulsifiers; they are often used in oral, nasal sprays, eye, ear drops and shampoos.
3. Polyethers are effective wetting agents and can be used in fabric dyeing, photographic development and acidic electrolytes for electroplating. When F68 is used in sugar factories, more sugar can be obtained due to increased water permeability.
4. Polyethers are useful antistatic agents, and L44 can provide lasting electrostatic protection for synthetic fibers.
5. Polyethers are used as dispersants in emulsion coatings. F68 is used as an emulsifier during emulsion polymerization. L62 and L64 can be used as pesticide emulsifiers, coolants and lubricants in metal cutting and grinding. They can be used as lubricants during rubber vulcanization.
6. L64 and F68 can effectively prevent the formation of hard scale in oil pipelines and be used for the recovery of secondary oil.
7. Polyether can be used as a papermaking auxiliary. F68 can effectively improve the quality of coated paper.
8. F38 can be used as an emulsifier, wetting agent, defoamer, demulsifier, dispersant, antistatic agent, dust remover, viscosity regulator, foam control agent, leveling agent, gelling agent, etc., for the production of agricultural chemicals, cosmetics, and medicines; it is also used in metal processing cleaning, pulp and papermaking industry, textile processing (textile, finishing, dyeing, softening finishing), water treatment; it is also used as a rinsing auxiliary.
9. P65 is mainly used in the wool spinning industry as a wool protector. Adding about 0.3% in the wool carbonization process can reduce wool scale damage, increase single fiber strength by 10%, and reduce spinning breakage rate by 10%.
