BOPP pearlescent film is made of polypropylene resin, calcium carbonate and pearlescent pigments, which are biaxially stretched after mixing. The granular CaCO3 masterbatch is evenly dispersed in the homopolymer PP, and many holes are formed when the PP is stretched, and it is these holes that refract light to form a pearlescent effect.
