What is Heat sealable PET film?

Heat Sealable Pet Film is a coextruded, biaxially orientated one side heat sealable polyester film with a corona treatment on the reverse side. The amorphous seal layer, seals to CPET, APET, BOPET, glass, coated paper and paperboard. The corona treatment on the reverse side has good ink adhesion,suitable for various printing.

 

Heat sealable polyester film offers a one-side, co-extruded sealable surface with excellent barrier properties. The heat sealable side can be sealed to itself, to untreated surfaces, PVdC, PVC, paper, aluminum foil and well as a variety of other substrates. Because the film is so easy to use, it reduces manufacturing costs and increases productivity dramatically in a variety of manufacturing applications.

 

Either fin seals or overlap seals may be made on conventional packaging equipment. Polyester heat sealable film also offers superb print adhesion (on secondary surface) and heat and chemical resistance for excellent handling in high speed operations.

 

Temperature range use -40 to 204 deg C.
