Product Description

 

HA-AL has excellent dispersing effect on grey fabric impurities that can precipitate in alkaline dye liquor. The complexing effect of HA-AL on various calcium ions is similar to that of products derived from ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid or nitrotriacetic acid. However, compared with these complexes, HA-AL does not dissolve various metal ions, such as copper and chromium contained in metal complex dyes, and thus does not affect the activity of metal complexes and the color and fastness of direct dyes. HA-AL has no dye retention effect in the dye bath, and since this product has no surface activity, it will not foam.

 

1. Dyeing of polyester-cotton blended fabrics
Usually, after the polyester part of the grey cloth is dyed, the cotton impurities dissolved in the acidic medium are easy to form precipitation in the subsequent alkaline dyeing tank. Since this product has dispersing and complexing properties, adding this product can prevent the occurrence of such precipitation, especially in the jig dyeing process. The concentration of this product is 1~2 g/L, and it is added in the initial stage of dyeing.

 

2. Dyeing of cotton fabrics with reduced dyes
Since this product has the function of protective colloid in alkaline dye solution and has obvious complexing effect on metal ions such as calcium and magnesium, this product is very suitable for dyeing reduced dye cotton fabrics. After using this product, there is no need to add special protective colloids or complexing agents. The application concentration of this product in the working solution is 1~3 g/L.

 

3. Dyeing of cotton fabrics with reactive dyes
When using reactive dyes for dyeing, various ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid type complexing agents cannot be used, because they can dissolve the complexed metal ions from many dyes, thereby reducing the color fastness of the dyed fabrics. On the contrary, HA-AL does not attack metal complex dyes and can therefore replace polyphosphates at the same concentration in reactive dyeing processes.
