Biodegradable temporary plugging agents PLA are made from special biopolymers and various biomaterials. It has various forms such as fibrous, granular, powdery, spherical, and nodular.

During the drilling process, EPLUG plugging agent is added to the drilling fluid together. The plugging agent will block the wellbore or cracks, prevent drilling fluid from infiltrating the formation and causing significant losses, prevent oil and gas well collapse, and prevent toxic gas leakage. After completion, EPLUG will be degraded into carbon dioxide and water. Oil/gas will flow out of the well, which will also increase the oil recovery rate.
